Published October 16, 2026 by Signitunes Studios. https://news.signitunes.com/what-is-the-roots-beneath-saga The Roots Beneath saga is the first official saga of Virethine, Sarah Morgan’s story in the Signiverse. It follows her path toward becoming an archaeologist through three drops so far: Origin, Call of Pursuit and Walk of Dreams. Weight of Wonder comes next. The Roots Beneath saga is the first official saga of Virethine, the Fantasy Lo-Fi story of Sarah Morgan, set in the Signiverse. It follows Sarah, a girl in the Land of Signi who is determined to become an archaeologist. The saga is told in drops. Each drop pairs an album with lore books and lore cards, and each one is a chapter in Sarah’s life. Why “Roots Beneath”? The name means two things. First, the family roots that anchor Sarah as she grows up. Second, what lies hidden beneath the surface: history in the ground, and the mysteries she can’t stop chasing. The Morgan family Sarah is the middle child of Silas and Paige Morgan. Stefan is the oldest and Jenna the youngest. Her family’s support, worry and pride run through every drop. Drop 1: Origin (December 1976) Long before she becomes a Grand Scholar, Sarah Morgan is just six years old, curled up beside her grandmother during the holiday season. Eleanor Normandy, a retired archaeologist, has stories to tell, and they plant something in Sarah that’s impossible to miss. Her family sees it take hold, and instead of brushing it off as a passing fancy, they lean in and encourage the spark that will one day carry her far from home. Includes: the Lo-Fi album Storytime, the lore card Child’s Vow, the lore book Winterfest Joy, and Storytime Track Title Meanings. Drop 2: Call of Pursuit (March 1986) Sarah is fifteen when word arrives of the Lakeview Public Museum’s annual competition, and she isn’t about to let it pass. Spring has settled in: Stefan savors it, Paige tends her greenhouse in full bloom, and Jenna hasn’t come out of her room in days. Sarah, meanwhile, loses sleep chasing one more step toward the archaeologist she’s determined to become. Includes: the Lo-Fi album All-Nighter, the lore card Sleepless Mind, and All-Nighter Track Title Meanings. Drop 3: Walk of Dreams (Summer 1986), the current drop Now sixteen, Sarah has applied, and there’s only the waiting left. When word finally comes, it puts her in the field on an excavation dig, under supervising archaeologist Ethan and alongside fellow participant Elhain Keller. Something out there catches Sarah’s attention, and Ethan is quick to wave it off. She doesn’t let it go. What she finds on her own sets off a chain of events that brings the dig to an abrupt and dangerous end, and sends her home to a family caught between relief and disappointment. Includes: Whispers of Summer, the first official Fantasy Lo-Fi album; the lore book Echo of a Beginning, which tells Sarah’s story; the lore card Display 2A, told by Bastian, the museum surveyor who keeps watch over the artifacts in the private room; Held Behind, a Fantasy Lo-Fi single that goes with Display 2A; and the Whispers of Summer Track Title Meanings lore book. Next: Weight of Wonder The fourth drop in the Roots Beneath saga is on its way. More soon. How the pieces fit Each album carries the mood of its chapter. The lore books and cards tell the story, and the Track Title Meanings explain what’s behind each track’s name. Every piece stands on its own, but together they give the fullest story. The saga moves from Lo-Fi in its first two drops into Fantasy Lo-Fi with Whispers of Summer. Signitunes Studios ### Virethine: A New Experience Published October 9, 2026 by Signitunes Studios. https://news.signitunes.com/virethine-a-new-experience Signitunes.com is being rebuilt from the ground up as the home of Virethine, the official name of the Signitunes story. Here is what that means for how you explore the lore and its soundtracks. Signians, last week we told you changes were coming to how you access the lore and its soundtracks. Today, we’re ready to tell you what they are. Signitunes.com is being rebuilt from the ground up as the home of Virethine, the official name of the story we tell here. The goal is simple: make it feel less like a website and more like a world, and make it a place you can settle into and spend time in without any friction. The Lore Library The Lore Library is where the lore lives, and it’s going to feel like it. Expect a cozy atmosphere with Fantasy Lo-Fi playing softly in the background, layered with regular ambient sound. If you’d rather read in silence, you can turn all of it off whenever you like. It’s your space, and you set the mood. A Home Page That Pulls You In The home page is getting a full rework to feel more immersive, with navigation that finally puts the whole world within reach. Every character and every establishment will be one step away, so you can wander wherever curiosity takes you. The Official Land of Signi Map We’re also introducing the official Land of Signi map. More on that when the time comes, but know that it’s coming. Every Drop Now Has a Name The stories of Virethine arrive as Drops, and they now have a proper home and a proper order. The four Drops so far form the Roots Beneath saga: Drop 1: Origin Drop 2: Call of Pursuit Drop 3: Walk of Dreams Drop 4: Weight of Wonder Weight of Wonder is our next Drop, and it continues the Roots Beneath saga in Sarah Morgan’s story. We’ll have much more to share when it’s time to talk about what it holds. A Schedule You Can Set Your Watch By From here on, the rhythm is official: Tuesdays at 9 a.m.: Drops go live on the website. Fridays at 3 p.m.: News goes live on the website. Mark your calendar, because this is when you’ll hear from us. Everything, Right in Your Browser All of it lives in your browser. Our music plays straight from the website itself. There’s no YouTube live stream, no ads, and nothing standing between you and the world. What’s Next There is more on the way. We’re saving the rest for the right moments, and we’ll tell you when we get there. At Signitunes Studios, we’re creating worlds we want to live in, and we can’t wait for you to step inside Virethine. Until next time, Signians. Signitunes Studios
